Jenny Barwick, LPC, CPCS is a licensed professional counselor and certified professional counselor supervisor and has her own private therapy practice, Searching For Vitality. Jenny has 3 Niches:
1) infertility/pregnancy loss and maternal mental health
2) older adults and caregiving

Maternal mental health refers to mood disorders during and after pregnancy. Infertility and pregnancy are losses unimaginable but so real. 1 in 8 women experience pregnancy loss and 1 in 4 experience some type of infertility. It is real, it is hard, and it is lonely. Jenny knows and understands the journey of infertility well and is privileged to help you on your journey. No matter if you are enduring infertility, grieving interrupted pregnancies (medically or naturally), have experienced traumatic pregnancy or delivery, or struggling after birth you are not alone.
Older adult therapy refers to adults over age 64. Age is a gift and full of beauty. It can also be filled with grief, depression, loss of purpose, questions, and adjustments. From late life depression to caregiving and everything in between, Jenny can help you or your aging family member find the support you are deserving of.
Depression and grief are universal. They can impact anyone and everyone.
Jenny completed her masters of science in rehabilitation counseling in 2010 from Georgia State University. She is a member of LPCA-GA (licensed professional counselor association of ga) and PSI (postpartum support international). Jenny is also eligible for her certificate of perinatal mental health. Jenny also provides supervision to new therapists seeking their LPC.
Jenny is now offering in-person sessions on Mondays. Virtual sessions are also offered throughout the week.
Jenny lives in Dunwoody with her husband, 3 children, and 2 dogs.
